Evelyn's First Day of School

Evelyn started preschool today! She was so excited to wear her back pack, carry her lunch box, and see her friends. There are several children from church who are starting this year at her school. She had a great day!




Evelyn likes to "dress up" and pretend. Here she is demonstrating a proper princess curtsy. When you don't have a dress on, you still have to hold out your shorts. Note Marianne's blue eyes at the bottom of the photo - she started "super crawling" earlier this week. She is fast and she loves to follow her sister!



Sometimes Evelyn wears a pretend mask, just like Willy the Wave. You know she has it on because she will not talk, just like the mascot Willy the Wave. We'll ask a question, and no response. She'll say, "I have a mask on." So, we ask her to take it off and she is happy to speak again.

Marianne is 7 Months Old!

Marianne turned 7 Months old on Sunday! She cut her 2 bottom front teeth this week - the first on September 1 and the second on Saturday the 4th. She is sort of crawling - she gets on all fours and lunges forward slowly. I think she will become a "super crawler" any day. She eats oatmeal and several types of fruits and vegetables. She still prefers milk, though.
