Evelyn's Birthday Party

Evelyn's birthday party had a cowboy theme, inspired by seeing Jessie and Woody at Disneyland when Uncle Scott and Titi Esti came. They sent her these pajamas, hat and boots! Evelyn wears the pajamas every night and loves to wear her boots!


Our friend Holly took this photo of Evelyn at her party. Nana and Papa Fisher came to celebrate, and they brought her this cute pink hat! She loved wearing it at her party.


Evelyn had been wanting to do a sack race - the pillow cases worked really well and the kids enjoyed it!

Papa Fisher told a cowboy story and sang 2 cowboy songs for the kids - they loved it and loved howling along with the coyotes to "The Lone Prairie."

More Catch Up

My Evelyn turned 4 today! But I will reflect on that in another post. Here she is looking beautiful in her "E" dress.



We all went to a Pepperdine soccer game last month (9/23/11). The girls had fun, and Marianne looked very cute...
As did her sister, matching with Pepperdine bows.



Here is Evelyn's first day of preschool, she is a Sea Otter this year and very proud of her new animal status.

Remembering 9/11

While Granny was visiting we took some time to visit the flags Pepperdine displays every year to remember 9/11. The girls enjoy running through the flags, but seeing the number of flags that each represent a life is a sobering thought.

September and August Flashback

Marianne is our Miss Personality! These are some pictures from early September, during Granny's visit with us. Thankfully, she has stopped putting food in her ears...



Marianne and Evelyn went through a tea party stage in August and September, they held a lot of tea parties on the little black table, and it was fun to get out some linen that we had been given while in Ukraine.

Evelyn and Brian have attended several Pepperdine girls soccer games this year. They have fun together!




Marianne at 18.5 months. She often adorns herself thus - she will walk into the bathroom and start naming colors, asking that they all be put on her head...






Marianne on her 18 month day. Uncle Scott and Titi Esti, Justin and Joshua were all with us to celebrate. We really enjoyed their visit! At 18 months, Marianne had 12 teeth.
