Reagan's California Adventure Part Two

Solstice Canyon:Here at the canyon there was this once gorgeous house that burned down. There was some rocks that me and Brian climbed. It was lots of fun!

After climbing we all enjoyed a banana. Who wants a banana?
I thought this was a wonderful picture that Brian took on the rocks. Does anyone else think so?
On the first day I got the privilege to push Evelyn in the shopping cart.

Reagan's California Adventure Part One

Me (Reagan) is at the beach and I am running from the waves. Having fun!!

Point Dume Beach: First day and I caught a sea weed!

Point Dume: Me and Brian had gone exploring, and found a cove. Those waves would trip you if you were not careful.(I eventually got tripped and soaked!)

Evelyn is watching Reagan chase the waves on a Malibu beach - her shoes make a nice pail and shovel.

Malibu Pier: We went to the Malibo Pier it was lots of fun, later we went down to the waves.

Evelyn's First Wedding

We drove from Tulsa to Olathe, Kansas for my cousin's wedding. We left early, so Evelyn rode in the car in her pajamas. She is stylin' here with pajamas and a handful of pizza and her white dress sandals.
She enjoyed playing with the bus in the Church while we waited for the wedding party to take pictures. She was able to catch glimpses of the "princess" down the aisle.

Evelyn was so excited to "see the princess come down," but she was also ready for nap time - and she slept through the ceremony. She awoke just as princess Brette and her new husband left, and she cried out "Princess come down?"

Here she is, fully recovered playing at the reception.

We stayed in Olathe to go to church with our family the next day, and she insisted on wearing the same dress to church. She did give Daddy a sweet kiss...

Evelyn played with the purple sunglasses she found in Great Grandma's van for most of the 4 hour drive home...all the better to help her find the many bulldozers, front loaders, trains and cranes we spotted along the way.

Belated Blogging

We're overdue on pictures and stories from our just-completed trip to Oklahoma. Today I have some photos from the time spent with the Fishers in OKC. This only represents a portion of our trip - so we will have to come back to the rest.

Here's some info on the pictures:
1. Evelyn decided that she loves moon bounces. This one is located at the OKC zoo near the dinosaur exhibit (I know, they have DINOSAURS at the zoo!) Anyway, the dinosaurs terrified her during her first trip to the zoo, but when we returned a week later she kept telling Nana "dinosaurs... want to see dinosaurs..." When we got there, it all made sense - she assumed she could sucker Nana into another turn in the moon bounce - and she was right.
2. Evelyn got in the "dress up" box at Nana and Papas. As you can see, she is sporting a lovely tiger hat, a kite and a dragonfly.
3. We went to look at Papa's airplane. Everyone was having fun, until Papa fired up the plane so the kids could watch him take off - much crying followed. Both Ty and Evelyn were quite convinced that they would never see their Papa again.
4. We went to the Myriad Gardens and watched the Red Earth Parade. It was "interesting." I think that I'm as much in favor of supporting Native Cultures as the next guy, but I don't get too excited about guys walking down the street in gym shorts and t-shirts... However this picture is of the kids feeding the Geese shortly before the parade began
5. More from the Myriad Gardens. Papa helped Evelyn play in the water. For those out there who are aware of germs: Once the playing was finished, Mom produced wipes ASAP.
