15 months stats

Evelyn pulled this apron out of the drawer in the kitchen (one of our students in Ukraine gave it to us) and she wore it for about 2.5 hours...

Her stats:
Weight: 20 pounds 2 oz (5-10%)
Height: 30" (50%)

She is also into the moon. She looks for the moon and says moon whenever we are out.

Another Video

For all you back in Oklahoma - I'm sorry to hear about the ice storm. If it's any consolation, we had to turn on our heater last night. (we had to get it fixed first, ugh)

I'm posting a second video. This one has a sleeping theme (as the song indicates), and most of the footage is from Evelyn's first few months. The opening scene was from last Christmas when it snowed, which might be appropriate for those of you who in the cold weather.

At the 2:00 mark, can you guess what Evelyn's dreaming about? And, sorry for the end, it's a bit clumsy and ended up getting cut in our final video montage.

Evelyn is a good backpack rider. We have been walking once a week at Zuma Beach to watch the sunset. Here it is on a cloudy day.

Evelyn's First Basketball Game

All smiles - even though Pepperdine lost.

We went to watch Pepperdine play Gonzaga last night. Our tickets are normally free, but we paid $1 for the "big game." Evelyn was a little overwhelmed by the noise, and for the first 20 minutes or so could only hold her cracker tightly in excitement. However, she did recover to eat a few crackers (there are a few in her cheeks here). Crackers are a big deal these days, and she wakes up first thing in the morning now asking for crackers...and when she wakes up from her naps...and any other time she thinks she can talk us into a cracker.
