Congratulations!

In case you did not know, congratulations are in order. Evelyn informed us last week that she is married! By yesterday, she had acquired an entire family. She often tells me, "I'm a mommy too."

So let me introduce:
Axis, her husband
Congo, the big sister
Barmo, the brother,
Sunshine, the baby sister
BaroJohns, a multipurpose character. Sometimes he is the dentist, sometimes he is her father etc.

We hope these imaginative name choices do not reflect her Malibu upbringing! We have NO IDEA where these names came from...even in Malibu we don't know anyone with these names!





Evelyn, you take good care of your imaginary family!

Marianne is 5 Months old!

Marianne is 5 months old! Here are her beautiful blue eyes...She is still a happy girl. She rolls...a lot. We often find her on her belly when she wakes up in the morning, and she rolls on a mission to reach certain toys. She still likes her jumperoo and loves watching Evelyn. She is close to sitting - still a little wobbly...it is hard for her to decide if she wants to sit or if she would rather dive for something to chew. She is a sweet girl!



We are so glad to have Granny here for a visit. Evelyn and Granny made cupcakes today to celebrate many things - Granny's birthday last month, Emma cat's 9th birthday yesterday...Evelyn enjoyed the process.


This rocking dog is a hand me down from the neighbors, Marianne likes riding backwards.


Here is a family photo after the 4th of July parade yesterday. Evelyn rode her tricycle this year and again enjoyed parading.

Having Fun with the Neighbors

Evelyn helped the neighbors wash their car on Saturday morning. The kids had a great time. Recently, some of our friends had their grandchildren come to visit. Their little boy is 3, a little older than Evelyn. He is very polite, and he asked her "What is your name?" Evelyn looked at him and replied in a serious voice, "I can't tell you that right now."
