Four Weeks Old

Ewan is four weeks old today, and growing!  On Monday (5 days ago) he weighed in at 11 lbs! He is more alert every day.  Well into size 1 diapers, eating about 8-9 times a day, and sleeping from 9:00pm to 4:30ish at night, then back to sleep again until about 7:30ish.  What a fellow!

I love these first two pictures, Brian and I often have a pile of three children on or around our lap now - reading of snuggling.  What a blessing!

Reading about "Oscar, The Cat About Town" by James Herriot.  A good book!

The indoor pool!  The first of "science fridays."  Evelyn wanted to know "How big is the Baxter pool?"  So we measured the perimeter in yards.  Then, Brian helped her build it to scale in the living room with blocks.  And with water (with a lot of saran wrap).  Needless to say the girls loved the indoor pool :)

Marianne seems so grown up now...She loves playing in the kiddie pool at Baxter.  She and her princesses have many  parties.

We were glad to have Grandpa this last week!  We had fun swimming, playing at parks and just relaxing :)

Ewan looks quite serious by this new sign sent from cousin Melissa and Great Aunt Audrey... but he is definitely cute :) And in a few days he will be a one month old...
